Following the review of procurement thresholds by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) at the federal level, the Jigawa State Due Process Bureau has updated its own thresholds and approval limits effective January 2025.
Key Changes
The minimum threshold for Open Competitive Tendering remains at ₦200 million for works contracts. However, the threshold for goods procurement has been adjusted to ₦50 million, and services/consultancy to ₦30 million.
MDAs are advised to update their 2025 procurement plans accordingly and submit revised plans to the Bureau for review and approval no later than 31 March 2025.
Training for MDA Procurement Officers
The Bureau will conduct capacity-building workshops for all MDA procurement officers in Dutse from February to April 2025. Attendance is mandatory for all designated procurement officers.
